Some Information about the DESERT CAMPFIRE / MIRAGE variation :

On the front of the card there was a printing error during production by the Wizards Of The Coast Belgium printer Carta Mundi that produced what some believe to be a campfire and/or mirage highlighted by a white spec in the dunes.

It’s estimated that only 10-20 % of the DESERT cards made it out to retail with the rest being destroyed once the error was realized.

These cards sell at a considerable premium to the more common normal land Desert cards. In addition the DESERT LAND CARD was the only Basic Land card released in this first expansion ARABIAN NIGHTS for Magic The Gathering

Some Information About ARABIAN NIGHTS cards :

They are considered by many experts and collectors alike to be the rarest MTG cards in existence and are very highly collectible due to both their scarcity being the lowest print run of all MTG card expansion release sets and overall MTG print runs and it being the first expansion set released by Wizards Of The Coast in ( December 1993 ).

Arabian Nights cards contain some the earliest Original Vintage MTG ARTWORK by MTG MASTER ARTISTS and also it includes being the first MTG expansion set to contain new cards and the only MTG set to be based on real world settings ( The book of one thousand and one nights)

All this makes ARABIAN NIGHTS Cards both the most valuable expansion set and subsequently some the most valuable cards of Magic The Gathering in my opinion.
