The innovative FUTURELIGHT ™ nanomembrane ensures total water resistance while maintaining breathability, unprecedented on the market. The manufacturer achieved this effect using the nanospining technology, which consists in spraying waterproof fibers that create an ultra-thin matrix. Thanks to this, its structure is dense enough to block water, while maintaining air permeability. Rigorous tests developed by The North Face brand have confirmed that the membrane can withstand atmospheric precipitation of 750 liters per hour, which is guaranteed to be completely waterproof.
