A rare and very interesting WMF ovoid vase with a base of bronze and copper and silver highlights...Has WMF Ikora tower stamp to the base along with the numbers 49/ 677- not sure whether these are shape and pattern numbers, but have seen it suggested that they might indicate a trial piece.....Looks to date from the 1920s Paul Hausen period.

In generally good condition, but does bear some inconsistencies to the surface- which is probably to do with the heat used in the fire patinationdecorating process. Please be advised by the photos and feel free to ask questions.
