7 Early Christmas Antique Postcards. Holly & Berries, Bird, Stocking, 1 Photo
This is a nice selection of 7 CHRISTMAS postcards showing various scenes dealing with the Christmas season. They are from different publishers and one of them is a black and white PHOTOGRAPH (Rotary Photo) showing snowy outdoor hills and trees. There is also one that is a PEN & INK Style postcard with blue grey colors, and a border of holly and berries. These are ANTIQUE postcards that were published in the early 1900s. All of the postcards are FLAT PRINTED (not Embossed) and some of the earlier ones would have been published in Germany, and the newer ones in the United States. They are colorful with good detail, and this makes them pleasing to look at.
The postcards designs include flowers, church bells, snowy rural scenes, snowy forest areas, stockings, ribbon, bird, etc. The one with the bird is very pretty and it has gold and silver trim. Note that this has a cut on the right hand middle area. These are nice Christmas postcards that would appeal to collectors because of their age, design, and colors. Overall, a nice selection of old antique Christmas postcards!
The postcards are all POSTED. They would have been published in the 1906-1910's era. Two of the postcards have UNDIVIDED backs.
These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value. Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and their backs.
