You are bidding on a used hard cover book with dust cover called MAMMOTHS , isbn 0025729853 by Adrian Lister. This is 9” x 11” with 164 pages from 1994 . The story of these long-extinct Ice Age mammals, which coexisted with humans for about 40,000 years, is reconstructed in this book with the help of geologists, archaeologists, biologists, anthropologists and art historians. The book is illustrated throughout with photographs of remains, French and Russian cave paintings, and artworks. Color photos and illus. This is in very good condition but the dust cover has a 1" tear top side corner .
