I got this Amp along with the purchase of a guitar that looked unused, which is pretty much the same for this Amplifier. I don't recall ever trying the amp out, it just sat in a closet for a couple of years. But when I pulled it out to test for the sale I was surprised on how loud and good it sounded. On the Clean switched channel it's a fairly nice sound for a 6 inch speaker. But turn it up to 5 and the amp starts to distort in a way that was very pleasing to my ear. Seven was very good too, but beyond that the amp is just too loud for the speaker to handle. I thought the Overdrive channel was OK. Too harsh for my ear, but some may like that. (Using a Gibson LP with Humbuckers). All in all a useable practice amp. {first picture is stock photo}
