Chipper Jones is one of the most impressive and successful players in Major League Baseball history. He was a switch-hitter who was able to hit for power and average, as well as having good defensive skills as a third baseman.

Jones was an MVP candidate every year he was in the league and had a total of 468 home runs, 1,623 RBIs, and a .303 batting average. He won the NL batting title in 2008 and was named to 8 All-Star teams.

On the defensive side, he had a .977 fielding percentage with the Braves and a .972 career fielding percentage overall. He was also a Gold Glove Award winner in 2002 and earned 7 Silver Slugger Awards during his career.

Jones was a leader in many ways, leading the Braves to 14 consecutive division titles from 1995-2006. He was also a leader in the clubhouse, as he was one of the main figures who helped the Braves to their success.

For his tremendous accomplishments, Jones was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018. His overall impact on the Braves and the game of baseball will be remembered for many years to come.
