Bygone Days

“Let Bygones be Back”

Giant gold medallion honoring 1981 inauguration of Ronald Reagan, 40th president of the United States from 1981 to 1989.

New in original packaging.

Heavy plaque cast perhaps in bronze, or perhaps lead. Although it has not been removed from original package, there is a 1/8” scratch on the side rim, removing the gold color to reveal a dark color underneath.

Reverse features a mountain range in relief and above it, quoting Reagan from his First Inaugural on Jan. 20, 1981:

“LET US RENEW

 OUR FAITH AND OUR

HOPE. WE HAVE EVERY

 RIGHT TO DREAM

HEROIC DREAMS.”

Medal is 3” in diameter and 3/8” thick. Weight:  8.6 oz (243 g).

All items have been stored in a smoke-free environment.

Any condition assigned to listed items is based on my amateur, albeit conservative, opinion, so please examine available images.

Combined shipping available on multiple purchases upon request. That means that if an order contains at least one item with a shipping charge, although other items in the order are listed with free shipping, there will be a charge--the lowest possible given the combined items.

On listings where multiple copies of the same item are listed, labels associated with a color such as Item Name-Yellow or Item Name-Purple refer only to the color of the background used for identification purposes.

Take care to note whether this auction is one in which multiple copies of the same or similar items are being sold individually, and that the price listed is for one of the items rather than all the items which might appear in a group photo.

I want the buyer to be satisfied, so please ask any questions before purchase.

Your satisfaction 100% guaranteed, or simply return your purchase within 30 days for a full refund!

Thank you for your patronage.
