All 2p coins struck between 1971 and 1981 included the words 'NEW PENCE' as part of their reverse. In 1982 and in subsequent years the words 'NEW PENCE' were replaced with the word 'TWO PENCE'.
I got few 2 NEW pence coin 1971 from vintage market , The old man who sold these to me was immigration officer. He told me these coins are souvenior from people around the world that was culture of the time he worked there and I got 1975 coins also 2 pence from him.
