Description

William Harold "Bill" Terry is considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He spent his entire career with the New York Giants as a player and manager from 1923 to 1941. He is the last National League player to bat over .400 in a single season with a .401 in 1930, when he was named the NL batting champion. The Giants won the NL pennant and World Series in 1933 while he was a manager and player. Over his 14-year playing career, he collected 1,078 RBI, 154 home runs, 1,120 runs scored, with a .341 batting average. He had nine consecutive seasons batting .320 or higher, and his career batting average is a record for left-handed hitters in the Nationa League. The 3-time All-Star was ranked #59 on The Sporting News list of the 100 Greatest Baseball Players in 1999, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1954. This National League baseball was hand signed by Terry. Each signature includes authentication from PSA/DNA.
