Ai Kai is a boy following Lp Tuad on pilgrimage and during the time when Lp Tuad pass by Wat Chedi of Nakon So Thammarat. Lp Thuad ordered Ai Kai to look after Wat Chedi for him.

That did not lasted too long and Ai Kai pass away when he was still young and his spirit lived there ever since. His spirit always keep an eye on the temple, protecting it whenever someone wants to bring harm to the temple. The power of Ai Kai is widely known in the province of Nakron Si Thammarat and the people of the province came together to build an statue of Ai Kai from Takain wood and invited Ai Kai into the statue.

After which Ai Kai helped countless people who came to pray to him which many people came forward to worship and offer offering to Ai Kai. Many like to make a wish and pray for striking lottery which many did strike and brought rooster statue back for Ai Kai to play and lighting firecracker as a form of thank you.
