Description
Bart Starr was the star quarterback for the Green Bay Packers until 1971. He led the Packers to two Super Bowl championships and was named the MVP for both games. Starr has the highest playoff passer rating (104.80) of any quarterback in NFL history and a playoff record of 9-1. The four-time Pro Bowler was named to the NFL's 1960s All-Decade Team, and his #15 was retired by the Packers in 1973. He was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Packers Hall of Fame in 1977. Starr passed away in 2019 at the age of 85.
Brett Favre played the majority of his career with the Green Bay Packers, but also spent time with the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings. He is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 70,000 yards and over 500 touchdowns with more than 6,000 completions in over 10,000 pass attempts. Favre led the Packers to two NFC Championship wins and brought home the ring in Super Bowl XXXI. Favre is an 11-time Pro Bowler, 5-time NFL Player of the Year, 3-time NFL MVP and was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.
