This is an absolutely lovely piece of West German Pottery from before the wall came down.
It stands 25cms (9.75") tall with 12cm/5" opening. The body is a brown with a purple undertone with greens, greys, yellows and cream coloured glaze. No chips or crack, but a small manufacture flaw along the lip in the form of a tiny bubble pop during the firing process. The bottom is marked 777/25. It does not say W. Germany, but comparisons suggest that it is.
