This is a rare c1950s vintage Guinness advertising lamp base&original shade.It is manufactured by Carlton Ware Limited Stoke On Trent for Arthur Guinness Son&Co (Park Royal)Ltd with a GA/2178 number.The lamp base is in an excellent original condition with no repairs and it’s original bakolite light bulb holder.The shade is original and is in a good but used and damaged condition but predominantly on one side so it can be displayed well using the good side of the shade.The lamp with its shade measures 42cm tall x 28.5cm wide and the lampshades width is 18cm wide.
