Beautiful handpainted set of 4 Cake / Side Plates.
Produced by Bing & Grondahl ( now Royal Copenhagen ) in the Classic and Elegant SEAGULL with GOLD design, # 28A.
The 4 Side Plates are in fine condition with no chips, cracks or repair, but minor surface scratches. Any white spots are fom the camera flash.
There is NO etch through the B&G logo, meaning these Plates are a Factory First production.
According to the B&G 3-Tower logo date mark, these Side Plates were produced between 1948 - 1952. Minor signs of use are to be expected at plates this age.
All the SEAGULL items were handpainted, and therefore the decor is not excatly alike.
Diameter is app 15 cm = app 5 9/10".
