Helpful hint... The net will be the most efficient when the skimmer suction pressure is set correctly.  If the suction pressure is set too high you could cause the net to tear and or the basket to crack if the net becomes too full with debris.  

I personally use these nets to capture skimmed items such as bugs and leaves.  It really helps keep the smaller bugs out of my filter.  It is not meant for heavy use such as with a vacuum hose.  I dispose of them often when they get worn.
