This catalogue, produced in conjunction with a 2003 exhibition entitled Michael Goldberg: Over the Moon: Paintings 2000-2002, is an excellent resource on the work of this important American artist. It was one of the very last major exhibitions before he passed away. It includes an essay by Klaus Kertess, an interview with Saul Ostrow, biographical notes on the artist, 18 lavish full-page color plates, and additional illustrations in black and white.  The show was presented jointly by Lennon Weinberg, New york; Manny Silverman Gallery, Los Angeles; and Thomas McCormick Gallery, Chicago. Michael Goldberg recently was awarded a Judith Rothschild Foundation grant-given to a recently deceased abstract artist whose work is of the highest quality but who merits further recognition.
