This beautiful weight wool fabric comes from my mother's collection of very fine wool. She was a wool applique quilter and had every intention of using up all of the wool in her collection, putting it in her fine quilts.
This luxurious wool is lightweight. I would consider it a slack weight if you are a seamstress. I compare the appearance of this wool to denim.
There is one place I notice a loose thread, it doesn't appear as a pull, just a thread that didn't get into the weave. Please see photo.
