7 Christmas Mixture Antique Postcards. EMB & Gold Trim. Houses, Bells, People
This is a good selection of CHRISTMAS postcards that have the classic Christmas Motifs seen on ANTIQUE postcards from the early 1900s. The postcards are nicely drawn and have a colorful and attractive look to them. These postcards have a nice seasonal feel, and are good postcards to add to a collection. They would appeal to collectors because they have good detail and are pleasing to look at.
These postcards show SNOWY RURAL SCENES, HOUSES, FLOWERS, BELLS, BOOK, HOLLY & BERRIES, SUNSET, and other Christmas motifs. There is one with a man and woman dressed in colonial clothing walking in the snow. These postcards are EMBOSSED, and four have GOLD TRIM in their design.
The postcards are UNPOSTED (2) and POSTED (5) with cancel dates of 1911-1919. The postcards would have been published in the 1908-1918 era, most during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). Some of these were "Printed in Germany", and others in the USA. They have DIVIDED backs.
These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs.
The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS First Class mail when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz. We ship worldwide with eBay International Standard Delivery with tracking, and the shipping cost is determined by the buyer's location. We combine shipping whenever possible. If you purchase multiple lots, we will send you an invoice for the combined shipping before you pay.
