This is a hand-carved wooden mask of some cultural origin. I've called it African in the title, but actually don't know.
Facial features would allow the expert to determine when and where this came from. Would love to know if you would drop a msg.
The flat forehead, the squinted eye, the narrow nose and the more slender lips might suggest something entirely non-African.
The mask has not been clean, repaired or modified in any way. Is as found and measures approx. 22 cms in length.
Please consider the pictures part of the description and feel free to ask questions.
