Here I have for sale an pair unusually and beuautiful tiles of Greek ceramic art, authentic, handmade and hand painting, work enamel, refractory, (fired, at 1.000 degrees C), partially glazed, which they are had been crafted by the prominent and talented Greek ceramist, Angelos Tsakirakis. They are signed lower right with the monogram "AT". They are with wooden frame and they are ready for hanging. In these unique ceramics, with the wonderful combination of design and enamel color, you can admire the artistic depiction, with chastity and expressiveness, of the naked human body, man and woman. Are in very good condition. Dimensions: Each, without frame, 15 X 7.5 cm or 6 X 3", with wooden frame, 16.7 X 9.2 cm or 6 4/8 X 3 5/8 X " and total weight, 450gr. Angelos Tsakirakis (1934-2006) was important Greek artist, ceramicist and painter. Studied in Doxiadis School and served the ceramic art, modestly, with love and dedication over forty years. He has created, handmade and hand painting ceramics masterpieces, classical and modern, which they liked a lot in the art lovers. Draws his themes from various sources, mythology, history, legends, and generally from the Greek tradition and culture. Today the authentic ceramics Tsakirakis, are highly collectible, especially for those who know and appreciate the ceramic art. Tsakirakis he had friendship and collaboration with top artists of his era, such as Yannis Tsarouchis, Constantinos Grammatopoulos, etc. Especially Yannis Tsarouchis who it had also dealt and with the ceramic art, (from 1981 in pottery of Maroussi), he admired the art and talent of Tsakirakis. His works are found in private collections in Greece and abroad.
