USS PAMPANITO SUBMARINE ON DECK book Squadron Signal
USS Pampaninot on Deck Book by Robert Stern. The USS Pampanito, a Balao-class fleet submarine, was commissioned in late 1943 and went into action in the Pacific at the height of WWII. During her patrols from early 1944 through mid-1945, Pampanito prowled the sea lanes of the western Pacific, decimating the convoys that were the life blood of Japan’s far-flung maritime empire.  By the time she was ordered back to Pearl Harbor for overhaul in the summer of 1945, Pampanito had sent 5 Japanese ships - 27,332 tons to the bottom.  But Pampanito?s proudest day was 15 September 1944 when she rescued a total of 73 British and Australian prisoners of war who had survived the sinking of a convoy taking them to Japan as slave labor. Today, Pampanito is a floating museum permanently docked at San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. Illustrated with 265 highly detailed photographs, color profiles, and intricate line drawings; 80 pages. Soft cover

Hi First of all, many thanks for the looking.
Discount on postage! Sorry there isn't any - read on.
1) Postal charges go on weight, 'Not how many books are in one box etc' (and books are heavy) And it doesn't matter where in the world you are, France, USA, Australia etc. The prices are the same
2) If you didn't know All postal chargers around the World went up by around 30% in August 2020, due to Covid etc.
And have gone up again 1st Jan 2021, and there isn't anything we can do about it, its all down to them.(And have gone up again in April 2021?)
3) Due to Brexit, on 1st Jan 2021, Vat is going to be added to overseas postal services and export tax (even though books are Vat free here in the UK, this is going to change?)
4) After the 1st Jan, you will also have to pay a tax on receiving anything from the UK (Although We are hoping, by adding a customs for 'lowering the value of books sent', by saying they are worth £20? so you may get away with this?)
If I am honest, Covid and Brexit, are really 'Messing' things up over here (and the rest of the world to)
Hand on Heart, I am now thinking of removing all overseas services from my sales. This will hurt our book sales, but the hassel's it is looking like its going to be, it is just not worth selling overseas anymore? Although we shall wait and see?
So sorry, but right now, we can offer any discount, as due to the above, so please DO NOT ask, as our prices are fixed and have been calulated on Royal Mail International 'Signed For' posting
And before you ask, we will not send them anyother way (Not surface, or any other Postal Company etc)
And also, after ebay/paypal fees etc, it just isn't worth it on our part, we just end up losing out.
So our prices are firm and fixed, and as advertised. So please do not complain to us about our p&p, we don't set these prices, All Postal services do.
Again thanks for looking
