A unique, cast and hand-worked human bronze figure from the 15th-16th century - VERY RARE!
In this auction I am offering a perfectly preserved unique medieval, cast and hand-worked human bronze figure from the 15th-16th century. The figure represents an ancient Greek or Roman Goddess with outstretched wings. She has raised both hands, holding a ritual vessel. Unique craftsmanship with well-preserved details and ornaments. I assume that this medieval figure was part of an old bronze candlestick made in Central Europe. I think so because at both ends of the figure there are small threaded holes where something was attached. I decided it was part of a unique bronze candlestick because I saw a similar one in an antique catalog, a photo of which I have in the offer. The figure is completely authentic and excellently preserved with a nice patina. It weighs 272 grams and measures 130x60mm/5.1x2.4 inches. A wonderful and extremely rare on small bronze collector's   - you get what you see in the pictures. TOP PRICE! If you like what you see, place your bid! The photos speak for themselves and are followed by the most detailed description possible. We're not experts in all fields, we describe you the items to the best of our knowledge. Remember you are bidding on an old and used product, this meaning that despite being presented in remarkable condition it could have some minor wear. Good luck and enjoy your bidding.
