The Limited Editions Club was founded in 1929 by George Macy with the intent of publishing beautifully illustrated and designed classic literature for a limited number of subscribers. Much of the Club’s fame stems from its use of some of the best illustrators and artists available. Each title was uniquely designed with individualized paper, cover materials, and most books are numbered and signed by the Illustrator.

Books have pictorial cloth binding, with gilt lettering on spine (see photos)

The book size: 10” high x 7 1/8” wide, 742 pages

Considering their age, these Books are in Very Good condition, with no bookplates or labels, with very little scuffing on the spines (see photos)

Considering their age, the Slipcase is in Good condition,  with a replacement  label on the spine, minor scuffing/soiling/sun fading (see photos)
