Bonnotte “ Chastity “

Originating from c1926 comes this humorous & cheeky printed scene of a ladies beauty and other things being revealed with a chastity belt from times gone by. A rare theme and very unusual!                          

 Typical Bonnotte humour with his art of shapes and contours make this print a joy to be hold !

            Scene is after work first created by the French artist :- Leon Ferdinand Bonnotte ( 1852-1933 ). 

                          Print is of a n offset technique with a satin finish and printed on chalk paper ( off white in colour ). All printed text is in French, under the mountcard. 

                                                       Overall quality of the print is good.

                                   Print is over 90 years old, and is excellent for framing.
