For Discovery 2 vehicles without the driver engaged ‘Diff Lock’ operating mechanism (originally omitted on some models), this can now be activated by the innovative NES-D2-CDL kit. This kit is the vacuum operated model more specifically setup to instal on TD5 engined vehicles utilizing the redundant EGR components.

An alternative to the aftermarket levers to reinstate CDL ability at up to 25% of the cost.

Consisting of a vacuum actuator installed via a bracket on top of the transfer box center ‘diff’ housing that is activated by a dash mounted illuminated rocker switch. Simple plug and play wiring with all components needed are supplied in the kit.

Installation of the actuator is carried out using a minimum of tools from under the vehicle by simple easy to follow instructions provided with each kit.

Although designed for the Discovery 2 and its factory omitted actuation levers, this kit can bring rocker switched operation of the diff-lock to any LT230 transfer box with the diff-lock internals fitted.
