ELTON JOHN / TIME MAGAZINE / JULY 7 1975 / ROCK'S CAPTAIN FANTASTIC.  Blemish: the centerfold - the ad with the two Hondas side by side - if you look closely, you can see the page has come loose from the top staple, while still staying firm with the bottom staple.  Otherwise, it's been archived in a smoke-free, cool and dark environment.  Thanks for your interest.  Love Elton!  Some of the best memories of concerts I have is with Elton John.  Met him in person in 1975 at his chosen eyeglass store - Optique Boutique on Sunset Blvd in L.A. - known for their creativity in eyeglass design.  He was there and showed us his attache case filled with maybe a dozen or more of his glasses.  Super nice experience.  I was there with my wife and sister.  He signed autographs for both me and my sister.  The next minute, he was performing at the sold out Dodger Stadium show.  Thanks for your interest!
