Just clip this on your cue bag/case and attach your protectors.  The pic of my 2 up joint protectors are the other colors I can make. these are printed on my 3D printer using pla filiment. strong and durable. note: they are 3D printed so you might see "maker marks".

Side Note: the pic with the joint protectors are from the lost and find at Griff's pool hall here in Las Vegas. see if they had one of these holders hanging off their bag, they would still own them!
