This watercolor still life painting was done by Mexican artist Gomez Saucedo. It shows a black pot and red pepper in bold dynamic strokes. There is a dedication on the front lower right of the painting in Spanish which translates as "painting for my great friend and Colleague Waneta with (sp?)". It is also dated 1982 and signed in the lower right. The painting in on paper and has been beautifully matted, framed and covered with what feels to be glass. The frame looks to have been made with a slight curve at the top center. The painting is in excellent condition. (Please note in the photos there is reflection of light off of the glass.)
