NGC graded, serialized and encapsulated Roman silver denarius
from the Republican Era. Minted in 90 BC by moneyer
Q. Titius,  whose existence is only known from these coins.


Obverse depicts right facing Mutinus Titinus.
Reverse shows winged Pegasus over a tablet.
Banker's marks present.

Mutinus Titinus was a Republican Era phallic marriage god.
He had a temple up until the 1st century BC, where it was custom
for bride's to be to straddle his statue's large phallus to "prepare
themselves for marriage".

Authenticated by the NGC, it was given the grade " FINE" with a
3/5 for Strike and a 3/5 for Surface
