Elastic types:
Braided: Available in widths of 3, 6 and 9mm in black or white. Braided elastic is a popular general purpose elastic as it is strong and durable. Used mainly in casing Application, it can also be used in swimwear.
Knitted: Available in widths of 12, 20, 25, 23 and 40mm. In black or white. Knitted elastic is soft and stretchy, and used in many and varied application. Most popular use is in sportswear, tracksuits and under garments.
Woven: Available in widths of 12, 20, 25, and 31mm in black and white. Woven elastic is strong and resilient, and resists rolling or twisting. Used extensively for many varied uses where stronger elastic is required. Very popular for waistbands and similar applications.
Important note: "width".
The width of elastic determines its tension or strength. Use narrow elastic for light tension, wider for heavier tension.
