Murano Glass Vase by V. Nason & C. Italy.
Vincenzo Nason was a Venini artist until he opened his own studio in the 1960s; the label here was used from '89 until the studio closed in 2001. We inherited it around 1991. Vase's body looks like 'cristallo', a crystal clear, high soda glass. Body is loaded with antique gold flecks and specks and broad vertical ribbons in shattered gold leaf (very unusual). Also a speckled dusty rose applied base with a matching wavy rose cord around the lower waist. Just over 8" tall, this is an eccentric charmer inspired by art glass from antiquity. Issue free!

*I had two of these just alike! I didn't know about its mate (this one)until I found it unpaking old crate., and it would have made a near perfect pair. I broke the one I originally listed. Tried to find the other without success.
Special deal for the client who bid on the other one (just like this one!)
Glad that I finally found this other one! Rare!
