DESCRIPTION: Antique Art Nouveau Tile Green Red Poppy 1900-1910 6" x 3" Press-moulded
This lovely antique tile features a press-moulded design of a green Poppy with flanking whiplash leaves on a red background with a green border top and bottom. The rear of the tile is marked 'ENGLAND' and it has the number 649 A B' painted in cream glaze.
The tile measures 6"x3" and it is 3/8ths inch thick. It was fitted into a cast iron fireplace register at the time of manufacture.
CONDITION:
In fantastic reclaimed antique condition. No cracks or blemishes. The only fault I can see anywhere on the tile is the tiniest of chip to the glaze on the extreme lower right corner. Please see the images.

This tile weighs around 250g. Once lavishly bubblewrapped, padded and strongly boxed, the finished parcel will weigh less than 1kg and will easily fall within the most economical Royal Mail 'up to 2kg small parcel' limits.
