Description: The book is nicely signed to the front free end paper "To Nina, With Best Wishes, Michael". Accompanying the book is a signed letter from Michael Bond to Nina Froud with a hand written postscript, "P.S. I hope we can fix up for you to come and see us soon". 

Original hardback in original dustwrapper, showing the first printing 8s 6d price to the inside front flap. Approximately 8 inches by 5.5 inches. 126 pages. The dustwrapper is in very pleasing condition, with light wear and some fading to the spine (see pictures). The book itself is in very attractive condition with light bumping to the corner tips and spine ends. Internally clean and bright. Binding sound and square. 

A rare signed example with excellent provenance.

Provenance: Formerly the property of Nina Froud, Michael Bond's literary agent. This signed book was bought by us together with an Uncorrected Proof copy and some other Paddington Bear items formerly owned by Mrs Froud.
