o    The universal Trip Lever bathtub drain stopper brings the most efficient method to your life - Modern looking and easy installation.

o    It has a metal construction that will endure the rigors of everyday use.

·         EASY TO INSTALL: INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Remove old screws and overflow plate from the bathtub.

2. Carefully detach plate from linkage (A) by removing cotter pin (B).

3. Attach linkage to new overflow plate (C). Align screw holes (S) on your new overflow plate and thread screws into place.

4. Remove the old stopper. There are several types of drain stopper, all of which can be removed very easily, with the stopper in the "open" position by turning the stopper counter-clockwise until the stopper unthreads from the old one.

5. Remove worn drain body by inserting plier handles (F) or similar tool into drain, engaging cross members and then turning counterclockwise to the unthread drain from the bathtub. Remove worn drain gasket on the tub (G) if needed.

6. For easy installation, remove the stopper (D) from new drain first, and then rolling a piece of plumber’s putty in your hands that are about the same thickness of a pencil. Wrap this underneath the lip of the new drain body (E), making sure that it reaches all the way around.

7. Check the size of your bathtub drain hole.

- For 1-5/8” hole, remove bushing/adapter (H) from new drain body (E);

- For 1-1/2” hole, keep the bushing/adapter (H) on the new one. Firstly place the new gasket (G) if needed, and then the drain body (E) in the drain hole. Slowly turn the drain clockwise to catch the first few threads of the drain elbow underneath the tub.

**Careful not to cross thread!***

8. Once the drain body is carefully threaded into the first few threads of the drain elbow, use the plier handles (F) or similar tool to turn clockwise to tighten. Warning - Do this

carefully, so as not to squeeze the gasket underneath the tub out of place. The connection needs to be tight to prevent leaks, but tightening it too much risks cracking the tub

or breaking the seal.

9. Remove any excess plumber's putty, and install the tub stopper, if needed. Then plug the tub and run a bit of water, checking for any leaks.
