This is an original 14 x 11 inches (36 x 28
cm.) lobby card from the film " The
beautiful blonde from bashful bend " starring Betty Grable, Cesar
Romero, Rudy Vallee, Olga San Juan. Lobby card print in 1949 and movie produced
by the 20th Century Fox. The lobby card is in like new condition
with no writing at the back. Card number 49 on 237. Normal
wear due to displaying and aging.This lobby card is from U.S.A and was printed during the years that the
film was released in movie theaters. This lobby card was created by the film
studios to publicise the movie and was intended for display outside the movie
theatre in special glass display boxes. This is not a reproduction, it is a
genuine collector's item.

Betty Grable, Cesar Romero and Rudy Vallee. The film was directed and
written by Preston Sturges based on a story by Earl Felton. Upon its release, the film received a mixed
review, thereafter its appreciation has improved. The Beautiful Blonde from
Bashful Bend is a romantic comedy-western. In this wild six-gun farce set in
the old west, Grable plays a hot-tempered racy saloon entertainer named Freddie
who is as quick with a pistol as she is to kick up her heels. During a fray,
Freddie accidentally shoots a judge while trying to protect her boyfriend
(Romero) - she leaves town disguised as a schoolteacher and woos a mine owner
(Vallee) while trying to escape persecution.
