ARENA LEAGUE PROMO CARD INFORMATION :

The Arena League Alternate Art Basic Land Promo cards were awarded in order to increase participation and attractiveness in the Arena League Format beginning in 1996.

With the successful introduction of FOIL CARDS in 1999 into the world of MTG the prize structure was changed to include 1 FOIL BASIC LAND for collecting a certain number of points in matches.

The Arena League promo program was discontinued after 2002 in favor of an alternative rewards system
