It had a substantially reduced angle of rotation of the focusing ring for faster focusing, and the 52mm filter thread used on its predecessor was retained. This eleven-element lens was converted for the AI program with a double aperture scale, and its closest focus is 1 ft. (30 cm). Serial numbers begin with 176121.
