Antique German Kaiser Bird Cage mechanical ticking clock

Rare Unique J Kaiser Germany Brass Mechanical Bird in Cage Alarm Mantel Clock Works.

Circa 1920’s

Condition is good. Base is Brass and the Brass cage has a nice patina to it. This is a delightful little clock that works well. All components work on this piece. It runs over 30 hours. The bird moves from side to side with each tick. The tick is noticeable in a quiet room. The top numbers on the metal rod are the minutes and numbers below that are the hours, and the numbers at bottom of cage are for the alarm times. The smallest key wind is for setting the alarm. The larger key wind is for winding the clock to run. When winding the key to run clock, wind the largest key hand on the base of clock counter clockwise. It can damage the clock if it is wound too tight. To prevent that, wind key no more than 9 turns to prevent that.
