The Aloha Super “Karol Winthorp” pays homage to famed “Video Days” casting director, Karol Winthorp. 

Arguably the most important street skateboarding video of all time, the 1991 video marked the first time director Spike Jonze adopted the pseudonym he is known as today. Unknown to most, Karol Winthorp is to Mark Gonzales, what Spike Jonze is to Adam Spiegel.

this low-profile offering engineers its uppers with smooth suedes, leather stripes and throat overlays and synthetic tongues, all of which are draped in a muted “Bark” hue. Baby blue accents maneuver over the branded hits placed atop the heels and the tongues, the former splitting between the skater’s initials on the left side and “KW” on the right foot to nod to his aforementioned alias.

The midsole area is constructed with a cloudy tint, and rounded off down below with “Vapour Pink” treading.
