A wheeled tractor is a self-propelled wheeled vehicle designed to pull and actuate various machines and implements. Machines are used in agriculture, construction and industry. The first steam-powered wheeled tractor was built in 1832–1837. in England by John Gitkot. In Russia, the first wheeled tractor was assembled in 1910 by Yakov Mamin, but mass production was established in 1922–1924.

The basis of the tractor is the skeleton, which carries the chassis, power unit, cab with controls and other equipment. The chassis has two axles, one, two or more wheels can be mounted on one hub. The tractor has a rear (rarely front) hitch, power take-off shafts, connectors for connecting the hydraulic and electrical systems of mounted / trailed equipment.
