If you are reading and considering this listing, you are, no doubt, already aware of light therapy in general and many of the various products on the market claiming this or that benefit.
You have also, no doubt, heard about the NASA experiments with low level, specific frequency light treatments to promote circulation and accelerate the healing processes, and the treatments of wounds, of the astronauts while in space.
What is not generally known, however, is that light therapy is really nothing new and neither is "color treatment" with documented experiments going back as far as the early 1960s by the Russians and others.

The visible color of light is determined by its wavelength. Red light has the longest wavelength. Red LEDs, as used in our kit, operate at a single frequency of 660 nM (nanoMeters). It turns out that this frequency is the perfect frequency for penetrating skin and body cellular structure since researchers discovered that human body cell tissue resonates at frequencies between 600 nM and 720 nM. So, obviously, the 660 nM red LED wavelength is the ideal midpoint. It was further found that 660 nM is more readily absorbed in hemoglobin than any other frequency. Furthermore, the red LEDs utilized also offer some emission to the near infrared level 880nM thereby offering multi-benefits of both type therapies in one!
