Two titles from the World War I series, Our Young Aeroplane Scouts, both published in 1915.

In Germany:
Beautiful book with strong hinges and vibrant colors.  No writing inside. Edge wear, especially on bottom edges. See photos.
Dust jacket has darkened with age. Some soiling. Several chips, the largest of which is the bottom left of the front cover.  Edge wear at folds along spine and front/rear flaps.
Overall, a very nice copy.

In Russia:
Book has vibrant colors. Strong hinges. Edge wear at top and bottom of book. See photos.
Dust jacket has significant tape holding it together. Several chips, the most significant of which is at the top of the spine, affecting title. While the tape is problematic, the dust jacket has protected the book well for over 100 years.
Despite flaws, a nice copy.
