Good afternoon from Congers, NY. I had these listed a long time ago on eBay. They failed to sell, and somewhere along the way I failed to renew the listing. I have a whole group of things that I need to relist in this manner, but these are my favorite, so they go first. Happy eBaying!
Two vintage Kibbutz dolls (I believe 1960's or 1970's, I'll leave exactly how old to the experts). Each doll appx. 7.5" tall. The first doll is Moshe Dayan in uniform. His hat is hard, like a plaster of Paris (?) , the rest of the outfit is cloth. His left hand is cracked (see photo) and is barely hanging on. It may detach during shipping. "Hanging on by a thread" is not overstating the matter.
The second doll is, I believe, his daughter, Yael. Yael is wearing a red beret, and holds a satchel. Both dolls on plain wooden bases, 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" appx. Both with the blue tags shown underneath, one tag with more wear.
