Item Description and Condition Details. This
listing includes a close focus capable CPC 35-100mm f/3.5-4.3 MC Auto Zoom
Magnum CCT manual focus lens with a Canon FD compatible mount, genuine CPC lens
cap, and generic mount cap. The lens appears
to have been handled gently and used rarely.
The lens is in excellent
condition with the following issues noted:
slight loss of coating along the bottom edge of the lens filter housing
flare located on the front end of the lens; small minor scratch to the right of
“Made in Japan”; a couple of spots of wear on the knurled metal aperture adjustment
ring (coating loss); light wear on tip of the aperture adjustment mount
interface lever; a few scuffs and scratches on the lens cap; the focus control
ring has a tiny bit of lateral play; minor internal dusts. The exterior of the lens is very clean
including the textured zoom and focus rings.
Both the focus and zoom action are fluid, smooth, and well damped throughout
their movable ranges. The aperture
adjustment is a bit clunky, but its not awful, and it functions properly. The old style breech lock is tight and
attached snugly to a compatible camera.
The mount itself appears as new.
The outward facing glass is clean and undamaged (the rear element could
use some attention as it is difficult to access). Internally, the optics are very clean with
less than expected levels of dusts, and shows no fungus, haze, or debris.
