Shchekina Elena

Born August 30, 1980 in Izmail, Odessa region, Ukraine.

She studied at the art school for children of Ismail.

Since 2000 - the beginning of exhibition activities.

In 2002-2007 studied at the Art department of Odessa State Grekov College (Liholet A.K.). She worked in the studio of Y.N. Egorov and S.N. Belik

She continued her training at the Odessa National University at the Philosophy Department, then in department of postgraduate studies (theory and history of culture), became PhD of cultural science.

A senior lecturer at the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History Faculty of Humanities of the Odessa National Polytechnic University.

In 2004 in the "Club of Odessa citizens' had her first solo exhibition, and after that there were organized and held 8 solo exhibitions.

Participant of regional, national and international exhibitions, festivals, symposiums. Works are in the Museum of Modern Art in Odessa, in the Museum-Estate of N.D. Kuznetsov (village Stepanovka Odessa region), in private collections in Ukraine and abroad
