Today in Russia there are several enterprises engaged in the production of trams: Ust-Katav Carriage Works (UKVZ), PK Transport Systems, Ural Transport Engineering Plant (Uraltransmash).

The products of the Ust-Katav Carriage Works are used in almost every tram city in the country. 71-628M is a single-section four-axle tram car with a completely low floor level and the ability to move on a multi-unit system.

Tram cars that Uraltransmash has been producing for 20 years have been appreciated by passengers and employees of electric transport in different cities of Russia. Tram model 71-418 is a three-section fully low-floor car, fully equipped with domestic production units.

The tram system of urban public transport in the city of Taganrog was opened in 1932. In 2022, the Taganrog tram will turn 90 years old. By the anniversary, the city will receive an updated tram system and modern rolling stock.

Tram traffic in Yekaterinburg was opened on November 7, 1929.

The Yekaterinburg tram has 17 end stations, 3 depots, a developed route network (31 routes), 455 passenger cars are operated.
