The Lord of Sipán is the name given to the first of several Moche mummies found at Huaca Rajada, Sipán, Peru by archaeologist Walter Alva. The site was discovered in 1987.

Señor de Sipán appears in stylized script at the base of the ear decoration depicted encompassing the entire coin obverse.

The facial reconstruction of the Lord of Sipán was a project organized by the Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega (UIGV), the Museo Tumbas Reales de Sipán and the Brazilian Team of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Dentistry - Ebrafol. In the stage referring to the presentation of the bust, the CTI Renato Archer from Campinas and the plastic artist Mari Bueno participated in the project.
