This is a fantasctic pre-owned Vintage Jaeger Le Coultre & CIE 526-5 Swiss Perpetual Motion Clock.  Serial Number: 111881. It is constructed of brass, glass and metal.  It is an Atmos Century Perpetual Motion Clock - "No Winding Ever".  It is powered alone by temperature changes.  The manual (which is original and included with the clock) says "Runs Silently, Accurately".  It is currently not running, but I have not taken it to a clock expert to see if it will run when set up properly.  It is up to the purchaser to either figure out how to get it to run or take it to an expert for determining functionality.  All parts are included for proper running, the only pieces missing are the back glass piece of the enclosure and two black cushion feet.  No pieces are missing for functionality of the clock.

Please view all photos & description before you buy.

I have seen descriptions of this type of clock where they say it must be exactly level in order for it to work on your mantle or wherever you display this beautiful piece.

Clock measures 7" Wide X 5" Deep X 9" Tall.  Clock weighs roughly 9 pounds.

This was given as a retirement gift to Harry W. Bothe Sr. after working for American Motors Corp. from 1925-1958 and the brass placard at the front, bottom of the clock has inscribed this very information.

On the bottom of the clock is inscribed "Le Coultre & Cie Metal Caliber 526-5 Swiss".  The round face is white with brass Arabic Numbers 3, 6, 9 & 12.  The hour & minute hands are also brass.  There is a black "Le Coultre" at the top of the front glass enclosure.  "SWISS" is in black at the bottom of the face below the "6".  On the back of the clock mechanism is inscribed "Le Coultre & Cie ATMOS", "FIFTEEN 15 JEWELS VXN" & "SWITZERLAND UNADJUSTED".  At the bottom back of the clock mechanism is inscribed "LE COULTRE & CIE SWISS".

Comes thoroughly bubble wrapped and shipped in a box with multiple surrounding air cushions from a smoke free home.  Ships via USPS Priority mail with tracking.
