A 19th Century Square Shahsavan (Shah Savan) Stripe Kilim

A beautiful larger, single-panel Shahsavan kilim from the 19th Century (about 1870/1880). Probably woven by the Shahsavan, this kilim could also be an Azeri or Shirvan (Shirwan, Schirwan) piece. Some of the flatweaves made by the two tribes are almost indistinguishable. Good condition for ist high age, with the original braided warps at both ends. Rare in its square size!
